For the inaugural opening of In Miami at Monday, Tuesday Etcetera, Natasha Lopez De Victoria transformed the Little Havana venue into an immersive, walk-through environment — a hand-painted mural, a living installation, and a series of one-time live portrait sittings.

Across the two-day event, guests met with the artist by appointment for a single portrait session set inside an installation of UV-activated artworks, hovering holographic animation, hand-painted seating, native foliage, and a soundtrack recorded on Natasha's wilderness expeditions.

Guests left with a keepsake of their sitting: the original hand-drawn portraits, scanned and reissued as Faces In Miami, a growing archive of the people who moved through the room.

Around the room hung a suite of works on cotton paper — ink, graphite, gouache, and UV-wax pigment — each a figure caught mid-motion.

Quilted Sky Over Cathedral Spires — a large-scale mural by Natasha Lopez De Victoria for the Quilted Buffalo in Custer, South Dakota.

Commissioned by the Quilted Buffalo, the mural weaves traditional quilt patterns into the horizon of the Cathedral Spires — the granite formations of the Black Hills of South Dakota — stitching craft tradition to landscape.

Join Me In A Land That Knows No End — a site-specific floor mural and sculptural installation by TM Sisters in the Florentine Room of the Morton Hotel, Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Organized by SiTE:LAB, the work reimagined the historic ballroom as an immersive environment and opened with a live performance by Unstoppable Death Machines.

A 2015 mural by TM Sisters (Monica & Natasha Lopez De Victoria) — a large-scale, multi-story sunset spanning the full façade of the Radius Garage at 251 N. 19th Avenue in Downtown Hollywood, FL.

Commissioned as part of the Downtown Hollywood Mural Project (DHMP) — curated by Jill Weisberg for the Hollywood Community Redevelopment Agency — the piece remains the largest mural in the DHMP collection to date. Rendered in bold, saturated color and drawing on the light, water, and atmosphere of South Florida's landscape, it functions as both a civic landmark and a wayfinding marker, visible from multiple vantage points throughout downtown.

The project reflects TM Sisters' ongoing practice in site-specific public art, large-scale exterior murals, and community-driven placemaking — placing their work alongside internationally recognized muralists including Kenny Scharf, Logan Hicks, and The London Police within one of Broward County's most prominent public art initiatives.

Saturation Of Illumination — TM Sisters' contribution to The Hurricane Projects I: Outbursts of Energy at The Moore Space, Miami Design District, September 2007.

Presented at The Moore Space — the influential Miami non-profit founded by collectors Rosa de la Cruz and Craig Robins and directed by Silvia Karman Cubiñá — The Hurricane Projects launched as a new annual series of artist's projects, bringing together four artists whose work negotiates movement, change, and the body.

Sherbert Skies Black Water Rising — a large-scale mural by TM Sisters (Monica & Natasha Lopez De Victoria) on the façade of the Downtown Art Haus, the landmark artist-run space in Downtown Miami.

Opened in 2012 in the former Capt. Harry's Fishing Supply building at 100 NE 11th Street, the Downtown Art Haus was a nearly 25,000-square-foot collective founded by four organizations — the TM Sisters, the gallery Dimensions Variable, the printmaking studio Turn-Based Press, and Bas Fisher Invitational (BFI) — brought together by the Downtown Development Authority to give artists displaced by the city's development free studio space and to draw professional artists and organizations to downtown.

Miami Worldcenter, which owned the land, provided the building rent- and utility-free, while the Downtown Development Authority funded the mural. The Art Haus closed in 2016 and was later demolished to make way for the Miami Worldcenter development.

(((sparks))) — a large-scale work by TM Sisters (Monica & Natasha Lopez De Victoria) at the Hedreen Gallery, Seattle University.

Housed in the Lee Center for the Arts, the Hedreen Gallery is Seattle University's free public gallery, dedicated to supporting emerging artists and presenting new work by established local, national, and international artists. Working across video, performance, music, and installation, the TM Sisters brought their kaleidoscopic, spectacle-driven aesthetic to the space.

Croc — a site-specific sculpture and mural by TM Sisters (Monica & Natasha Lopez De Victoria), created for the inaugural opening of the Lacoste flagship store in Miami Beach, FL.

Nodding to Lacoste's signature crocodile, the commission paired a sculptural centerpiece with a painted mural to mark the store's debut.

Star Track — the Miami reveal of BMW's first electric vehicle, staged by TM Sisters (Monica & Natasha Lopez De Victoria) in collaboration with the III Points Festival, Sleeper, and the Miami Quad Squad.

Founded in 2013 and built around three points — music, art, and technology — III Points is Miami's homegrown festival in the Wynwood Arts District. For the unveiling, the TM Sisters joined BMW, the festival, Sleeper, and the Miami Quad Squad in Wynwood.

Things Will End Before They Start — a touring live performance by TM Sisters (Monica & Natasha Lopez De Victoria), with music by DATAMOUTH. Out of Miami in the mid-2000s, the sisters made their name stepping into their own animation, performing live inside digital worlds they drew and set in motion themselves. It was a way of making video physical, and it carried a homegrown Miami practice onto the international stage — from the Serpentine in London to Performa in New York.

The TM Sisters first staged the piece at the Serpentine Gallery, London, during their participation in Uncertain States of America (2006) — the Serpentine's survey of recent American art, curated by Daniel Birnbaum, Gunnar Kvaran, and Hans Ulrich Obrist. The following year it travelled to Artists Space, New York, as part of PERFORMA 07 — curated by Benjamin Weil and Silvia Karman Cubiñá and co-presented with The Moore Space, Miami.

Hi Pressure — a projection-mapped interactive video installation by TM Sisters (Monica & Natasha Lopez De Victoria) with their brother Samuel, created for Nuit Blanche at the Drake Hotel in Toronto.

Staged for Nuit Blanche — the free, dusk-to-dawn contemporary art event — the siblings turned the Drake Hotel into a projection-mapped environment that viewers could move through and shape in real time.

Without U Babe — a 12-projection shadow performance by TM Sisters (Monica & Natasha Lopez De Victoria), commissioned by Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM, formerly the Miami Art Museum) for New Work Miami.

The piece follows three sisters cast adrift from a boat party into the night — stranded on separate rock islands until their voices, sung across the sea, call them home.

Future Glow — a light-activated mural by TM Sisters (Monica & Natasha Lopez De Victoria) at the Hollywood Arts and Culture Center.

WHIRL, CRASH, GO! — the TM Sisters' (Monica & Natasha Lopez De Victoria) most ambitious production, staged at Locust Projects after the duo won its Hilger Artist Project Award.

Over six weeks in the summer of 2009, the sisters rebuilt the Miami Design District gallery into a mirrored, nightclub-lit environment and filled it with more than thirty performers — trick roller skaters, synchronized swimmers, dancers, and musicians — for a site-specific performance that opened on 29 August 2009.

They made it with audio composer Otto Von Schirach and designer Karelle Levy of Krelwear. Mirrors hung from the ceiling fractured and multiplied the action below, turning the sisters' athleticism and Miami's club culture into a single moving picture.

SHIMMER — a live multimedia performance by TM Sisters (Monica & Natasha Lopez De Victoria), staged at the Adrienne Arsht Center as part of the Miami Made Festival in 2012.

A large cast in sparkling costumes moved through the sisters' video projections to a live electronic score, with color-guard choreography and a palette drawn from Miami sunrises.

BECK's Independent Artist Label — TM Sisters (Monica & Natasha Lopez De Victoria) were one of six acts hand-picked for BECK's 2013 Independent Artist Series, designing an original label for the brand's national Live Beyond Labels program.

Their design — a flying woman firing beams from her hands — travelled the country on 13.2 million bottles, alongside labels by Kid Cudi, Marc Ecko, Willis Earl Beal, The Date Farmers, and William Hundley.

A commissioned artwork by TM Sisters (Monica & Natasha Lopez De Victoria) for the Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport.

Crushed Candy — a sixth-anniversary group exhibition at David Castillo Gallery, Miami, in which TM Sisters (Monica & Natasha Lopez De Victoria) showed sculpture, video, and installation with a live performance staged alongside drummer Chris Diamond.

The show gathered four artists — Jonathan Ehrenberg, Shara Hughes, Meredith James, and the TM Sisters — around saturation, humor, and celebration, turning the gallery into what its release called "an arcade of phenomenological experience." The sisters brought their mix of video, performance, and large-scale installation, and "the seriousness of play," to the room.

Super Bolt & Bursting Bonus — an interactive video work (colour, sound) with a vinyl cushion by TM Sisters (Monica & Natasha Lopez De Victoria), held in the collection of the Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.

Made in 2005–2006 and acquired by the museum in 2008 (inventory no. 2919), the piece pairs colour-and-sound interactive video with a vinyl cushion; its dimensions are variable.

TM Sisters were among more than 40 artists selected for Uncertain States of America: American Art in the 3rd Millennium — an international survey of contemporary American art exploring appropriation, Pop, and socio-political critique.

Curated by Hans Ulrich Obrist, Daniel Birnbaum, and Gunnar B. Kvaran, the exhibition launched at the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art in Oslo in 2005 before touring internationally — to the Center for Curatorial Studies at Bard College in New York, the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, the Serpentine Gallery in London, the Reykjavík Art Museum, Herning Art Museum in Denmark, the Centre for Contemporary Art at Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw, Galerie Rudolfinum in Prague, Musée de Sérignan in France, the 2nd Moscow Biennial, and Songzhuang Art Center in Beijing. Throughout the exhibition's multi-year run, TM Sisters presented video artworks and staged live performances at several stops along the tour.

Curated as an early, defining survey of the artists who would go on to shape the next generation of contemporary American art, Uncertain States of America remains a touchstone exhibition of the mid-2000s art world — and one of TM Sisters' most extensive international engagements.
